i was driving tonight and there was some moose in the street. i was probably going about 30 mph and i threw the truck into nuetral and reved the enginge to try to get them to get out og the street. when i did this at a higher rpm the truck sounded like it tried to go into gear. it made a horrable and loud cluck/banging noise and it only lasted for a second. i reved it up again and the same thing happend. afterwards i put it back into drive and mashed the diesel pedal to see if it would happen again and nothing. i mashed it a few more times, some from a stop and some rolling, could not duplicate. i am about to drive from alaska to North Carolina in about a week and a half, should i have a concern. im concerned anyways. thanks. Blowing your horn at moose is a bad idea. They have a tendency to go crazy. I had a buddy do that and it dang near destroyed his truck.

IDK how much of a concern this is, but mine has done it ever since I've been driving the truck. It is still hanging in there, I just dont throw it in neutral so much. Sorry I couldn't really give you an answer, just an experience.
