I am thinking about replacing my injectors,
I am a bit worried that one is going out now.
What would be a good replacement or upgrade?
I am interested in fuel economy more then anything.

These injectors last a long time-- as long as the fuel is clean. The LB7 injectors had a problem.

I think dirty fuel has been my problem, I am starting to get black smoke at intial acceleration.
It has also been generating more smoke at warmup.
The exhaust also has a different odor.
With all of this in mind and my mileage I assumed that the injectors would be getting ready to need replacement.

Before you spend money on injectors, find someone to read the balance rates on the injectors you have. Most dealers want an hour of labor to check them. Less than a new set.
There is a boat load of checks including balance rates that should be done before you spend any great amount of money on injectors.
