Yup it runs good but my DPF fell off. You might want to do a search ;)

How hard is the "home brew bio" on new-model trucks? Has anyone on here been running it extensively and had any problems or wear issues?

You have a 100k warranty...that you could lose putting unauthorized fuel/additives in it. Not worth it to me.

I have the formula for "smart diesel." A mixture of veg. oil, kerosene, gas, an additive for c-tane and all is ran through a simple filtration process. I haven't tried it yet. Anybody else tried the "smart diesel process?:confuzeld

DO NOT RUN THAT. If you want to want your engine and injectors to last, don't run that stuff. Gasoline is a big no no in diesels, especially with these high pressure common rail fuel systems. I do recommend biodiesel however. You may want to consider making that.

I wouldn't suggest it in a warrantied engine. I am setting up one right now and bio is actually better for the engine post 1983 when they got away from rubber gaskets and line. There is more lubricity in bio also..
