Ok guys I've been doing my research on site on this problem. I notice on one of the posts a 2000 HD PMD is the only cause of intermetent stalling. I had about 2 months ago twice in the same day a very minute miss under acceleration onto the highway and nothing since then till now. The past 3 days my wife has been driving around town and truck stalled. It immediately starts back up and runs fine. It has happened 3 times the past 2 days. Now remember I have a toasted turbo blowing tons (new one on the way) of oil by right now so the driving of vehicle is very restricted and oil is checked at every stop. I was wondering I saw another post that stated the the engine could shut down due to oil pressure, but that seemed to be on older models. Could that be problem? When I relocated PMD is reused old one as I had not symtoms at the time of relocation. Mine is not relocated outside engine bay, which I read is the place to put it. So if PMD turns out to be problem it will be going outside engine bay somewhere. Truck has 103,000 miles and has had no problems till now. I did change fuel filter last night, as I thought that could be first problem. It was completely filthy, looked like a block of coal in a hole. Drained water, and made sure had no air in system. Turned key to on and pump is supplying fuel to filter so I think that rules out pump right?

On a 2000, the lift pump is operated by the PCM, so your right, oil pressure doesn't shut the pump off like it did on earlier models. Sounds like your PMD would certainly be suspect...

Can I do this wiggle test to check it? How do I do? And what should happen if PMD is going bad?

wiggle test will help find loose connectors, tells you nothing about the actual Driver.
