I'm sure this has been brought up numerous times. I've been lurking for a month or so now and have noticed a steady increase in posts in the fluids section being about bio, hydrogen and the like. Possibly time for its own section?

There was a separate section for alternative fuels, but a while back they combined it with this one.

Has anyone started mixing their own fuel with vegetable oil/restaurant waste cooking oil? I would like to do this. I have a friend who is mixing and using it in his 98 Dodge. His Dodge is running good on it. I am very cautious because I just spent $4500 in injectors, pump and exhaust system.

who's formula are you using? The one I have stumbled across is called dieselsecret.com. I need more info. I would rather use one that is already in use on the duramax. The problem is I don't know what to ask other than what I just posted. Any details would be good.

I have heard mixed things about dieselsecret. sounds like a good thing but what are the test results? all of the testimonials on the website remind me of a cheap infomercial. I have also heard that the main ingredient is naphthalene or mothballs. i would like to hear about some first hand results. I work in a restaurant and could drive for alot less, but I dont want to ruin my engine.

Do a little search for dieselsecret. There is much to read about that garbage on the forum!

DSE if it sounds to good to be true is prob is. I purchased a bottle of the stuff and then built my own Bio Station. Veggie oil conversion is a proven documented. I just don't have the balls to try something that is that sketchy.
