I am only days away from making bio and I hear that you will lose Hp when on Bio ? Is this true and if so what do you do when you pull a trailer or a boat? Is it better to go to B20 then? Thanks.

I burn staight WVO and did a dyno run on VO and Dino

the VO reduced my HP by 7 horses or 3% of the total HP, You will never even notice that. So Bio will be even less. Good luck

Many people have reported losing about 1 mpg running 100% bio.

Shoot if I am making the stuff for under 2 bucks a gal I can live with that.

It's about a 10% reduction in BTUs. But the dmax has so much power anyway that I doubt you'd notice it.

$2 per gal.. thats quite expensive even considering the price of methanol is quite high. Are you getting you methanol in 55 gal drums? How much per kg? or per gal which ever one you prefer

I run B100 in my "hot rodded" suburban. I don't miss those couple of ponies at all. The only reason I might change is if I run it in the Diesel Nationals here in October.
But then again, if I don't run petroleum, I might be able to claim the fastest vegetable powered suburban in the country!
