There used to be a supporting vendor on this forum. I looked up Stanadyne a few weeks ago, I can't remember who had it though.

X2 on Blue Ridge Diesel. I have ordered a case on two different occasions. Good prices and fast shipping.

If you want a vendor, IIRC Diesel Performance Part in TN has it. Click on the vendor link at top navigation bar.

You wont see a mileage increase. I've been running it for years in 3 different DMAX's and have never seen a mileage increase.

The benefit of fuel additive in general is to increase the lubricity of ULSD fuel. As you can read in the study in the sticky, the ULSD fuel have almost no lubricity which can have a detrimental effect on the fuel system in the truck. There may be cause of most IP trouble. If you have not read the study, may want to check it out. It is very revealing.

That's not exactly the case. The manufacturers are required to put an additive in the ULSD that replaces the lubication that is lost when changing from LSD to ULSD.

Any added lubricity will help since the reduction in sulfur and the different processing to produce ULSD reduces the fuel's lubricity compared to LSD. While non-sulfur lubricity additives that the refiners add does help, it doesn't make up for it entirely. That's why large fleet diesel fuel managers, like Penske Truck Leasing, use lubricity additives in ULSD.
