Ok. so what would happen if I had an insulated heated secondary tank in the box of my truck with heated fuel lines going to a solenoid valving system that would allow me to switch from regular diesel fuel to B100. Would this cause filter cloging or other sort of problems?

My intentions are to switch to B100 when the tank is warmed up then when I'm about 15 miles from home switch to diesel fuel and "clean out" the fuel system of B100 and then park it for the night. Then the next morning I would be able to start it like always and then when the tank gets warmed up switch over to biodiesel! Let me know what you think! Here is the link to all your cold weather biodiesel needs. http://www.arctic-fox.com/ (http://www.arctic-fox.com/)

Yes that could work if you control the temp after all you are only need to keep it flowing so do not go over 100 deg F. YOu can use these to contol it

Good luck

Ya I was going to keep the entire system to 30 deg. So I think it's going to work just fine. Hey by the way.. how hot does the fuel filter heater get on a d-max? I guess that all depends on the temp of the fuel your running?

The Dino switches to VO when the coolant temp at the VO filter hits 185deg F. My vo tank gets 160 deg F at the same time;

Like Hopper said - that will work but remember you would only need to heat it in cold conditions.

For shure. I will have a ball valve that will stop the circulation of anitfreeze to the tank and a switch that will cut the power to the heating pad. So basically it won't see any heat in the summer except for natural radiant heat. Wow I'm really excited!!
