Truck tripped this code on way home today (P0670) w/the CEL.
Had vato zone scan it and the print out from says, open or short circut, glow plug control module, check for shorts:rolleyes:

I searched the DP code forum and show no listing for P0670.

Does anyone have the part number for the updated GLOW PLUG CONTROL MODULE. I have the dreaded green dot on mine.

Looks pretty easy to change so if it isnt covered under my 100k factory waranty Im DIY and ordering it.

GM #97379635 I had to change it out on my truck. The plugs are a little bit of a bitch to undo but other wise its pretty easy. Its on the drivers side of the engine back near the fire wall.

LOL about the harness clips. F'n GM uses a diffrent type clip for everything. I had to undo my seat cushon to get out the burnt heater element and its like a puzzle trying to figure out how each clip comes apart.
