What is the best replacment bulb for the fog lights I have herd both 9005 and 9006 witch is better? any differance in wattage? thanks in advance

I hav only used the 9005. The way that it is "keyed" is close enough to the 9145. Now, I tried to put the 9006 in the spot, I don't see how anyone is getting the 9006 to fit. It seems that that bulb is quite a bit different. At least the way it "keys" is different. I couldn't get a 9006 to fit. I think the base is a different size too.

Also the "plug in" is different between the 9005/9006. The 9005 is a direct fit.

I have them in mine. Now this is a Silverado, I'm not sure if there is room in a Sierra being the fog lamps are round.
