Would there be any reason to update if not having any problems with the current software? New to all this, just wondering. Chris

the reason for the update is to fix the problem of the tuners during the loading phase so it doesnt stall out.direct from jeremy @ quad

When are they going to tinker with the tuning and not dump so much fuel into the tuning. Wish mine did not smoke so much.

i hear ya!!! mine smokes like a freight train which gets annoying when you wash it and drive for 2 hours on the highway and the back bumper corner is completely black lol. I downloaded the new tune and it could be a coincidence but my mileage went up 2 mpg.

So I guess I will update, second question, do I need to turn the truck back to stock? Then update, then reload? Thanks, Chris

Thanks, I found the info on Quad's site. I did have an issue when installing. Returned back to stock, uploaded the 2.41 update to the stealth, then tried to upload to my truck. Wouldn't load, kept getting stuck at the EE setting. Tried to go back to stock, wouldn't. So after 45 minutes of going back and forth trying to get stock to load so I could try to reload the update to the stealth, I read a post where DTC's were the reason why some couldn't update. Well, checked mine just cuz I couldn't think of anything else. Sure enough, 2455 code. I guess after I turned it back to stock, I pulled into the garage cuz it was about to rain. In doing so I tripped the CEL. Cleared the code, loaded like a charm. Got to check those DTC's.:D Just thought I'd share. Chris
