I'm getting reading to put a body lift on my truck in the next couple of weeks. I was wondering if any of you all have or know anyone to remount nerf bars to take out some of the gap between rocker panel and top of nerf bar? thanks

I would think that you would have to weld them up & maybe even make some more support brackets to help sturdy them up a bit. If I were you I would buy some n-fabs if you are going with a body lift. They mount to the body instead of the frame, so there is not extra welding to do after you put on the body lift. I think they look a lot better than a normal oval nerf bar as well. Here is a pic of the n-fabs on my truck with a 6" lift, and here is another pic of a members here that has a body lift and n-fabs. If you have any other questions just let me know.

I don't know what type of nerf bars you have, but a buddy of mine did a body lift on an 05 2500 gas with factory chevy nerf bars. I dont think he had to change the nerf bars and it looked normal.
