Well, I let some body use my truck for work and he left the lights on in my service body . :( I didn't figure it out until my truck was totally dead. Got it boosted and put the charger on it for 15 hours or so. Truck started OK this morning for work and I drove it about 125 miles today but still no green eyes on the batteries. Are they toast or what?

Sometimes the ball sticks and wont return. If you are dependent on the truck, I would get them tested, not really worth being stuck somewhere with dead batteries, or having to put in some type of battery you really dont like, because you have no choice.

Green Eyes suck -:t .
Quite a few of us have had to replace the because of leaking and cracked plates. -:t

You might as well replace them now while you have a reason with something that won't leak.

One of my batterys failed in Mississipi and the dealer put one in with no eye. It is a shame Delco batterys use to be the best.

my truck is 2 years old - no cracks or leaks yet. I just dont like that it's a sealed unit and you can't check the electrolite level - I am fashoned I guess.
