Ok I've got H2's on now with Nitto Terra Grapplers. I've also got my "summer" wheels, moto metals. The moto's have worn out BFG's on them and are 285's and my H2's have 295's. Now heres my dilemma. Do I pull the BFG's on the Moto's and put the Nitto's over on them and then put some new BFG"s or whatever tire I get for pulling on the H2's? The H2's with the 295's don't rub where my bars are set now, but the moto's with the 285's did ever so slightly. I'm wondering if the h2's will allow more clearance when the bars are down than the Moto's. I'm not sure on the offset of the motos, but the backspacing is 4.5. Any thoughts from you veteran pullers? Thanks.

I'd just run the wheel that you like the best for DD and the others for pulling. IMHO I wouldn't worry to much about rubbing if the wheel and tires are just gonna be for pulling. Mine rub and so do alot of peoples. But remember pulling is straight line. The only time you need to turn is on and off the track and that's usually no big deal. But to answer you question plainly I'd run the H2's for pulling just because I think you truck looks good with the moto metals on there.

too bad you weren't closer i have a fresh set of 285 bfg at's that i used for about 5 pulls last year but they're 16's. they pull like a champ in my opinion. i would put them on the lighter of the 2 wheels. a friend of mine pulled with his moto metals and noticed that they didn't spin as easy as his lighter aluminum wheels. i know other's will chime in but it's just something that we observed.

The H2s will allow more clearance. That's why most people run them so they can run a larger tire without issue. It's all about the offset.
That said, run the Motos. They will both function well for pulling and I'd rather have the best looking ones on when i'm in front of a big crowd.

I wasn't planning on running the Nitto's. I'm planning on some BFG's.

How much power did you have and how well did it turn them?

how wide are you moto's? that sounds like the difference beucase the back spacing sound about the same. i would run the bfg's all day long, then i would run the lightest rim of the 2.
