true, its sad to see such a great place fall to pieces. the new owners have hung themselves and this site. so much for giving them a chance. at least we have a new home to go to.

This makes absolutely no sense. In other words, 99.9% of the 6.5TD people are being penalized for one or two bad apples?

The only think "unsticking" the sticky's will do is make it more difficult for new members from learning more quickly, and old members from having an easy reference. It isn't going to stop any dissension..

Me thinks some people need to grow up!!! I don't used them as much as I used to but they really helped at the beginning of my 6.5 learning curve. Was an easy reference point.

Well, here's a thought,

We could edit our signatures, (current design borrowed from GMCTD) and probably answer most of our own questions, and retain the benifit of the stickies, without the clutter of the stickies...and save a couple thousand "...look in the FAQ..." type replies every week...

Stickies, no stickies, I'm indifferent, there is so much information that exists in various threads on this site that the stickies only comprised a small part of...

knkreb or gmctd: Was it the moderators who decided to dump the stickys or the new owners? People are clearly getting a mite upset at potential changes on DP, but if it turns out it wasn't even the new owners who made this change it might calm things down a bit.

Also, I hate to criticize you guys but this change-over isn't being handled very well. Very little information to members has been posted, and the tiny bit that has been posted is too cryptic to understand! If you wanted to start a rumor mill and get people worked up you couldn't have done it any better if you tried.

NVMTNLION resigned, still not sure what I'm gonna do at this point, you think turmoil here staff has been left in limbo, try figure out where I should place my loyalties getting drips & drabs from halfway round world, in Boreneo, I won't make final decisions until I get home and have 1 on 1 phone discussion and sort fact from fiction & something I can't do easily from here.
