Top switch is for turning on/off the Valentine 1 radar detector.
Bottom switch if for turning on/off the back lighting of the guages.

Those look very nice!

What kind of light is installed in it? Is it an LED?

The AutoMeter Sport Compact II are LED back lit gauges. Look really good at night, and pretty close to stock gauge look.

It looks like that boost gauge is mechanical, can you get an electric boost guage like that one? Do you think the mechanical gauges are better? Just seems a wire would run overhead easier than a tube. I don"t know, that's why I ask... They look GREAT!

The boost tube is very thin, and should run without problems. I haven't done the install yet, so I can get back to you on that later. I thought about electronic boost gauge, but if the display isn't digital, didn't want to wire additional components under the hood when the plastic seems to work fine, that I have read.
