Hey!
My Tires are also worn out at 21000 miles. I need new tires. I have read all the posts for tires, wheels and spacers and I still don't get it. I am a little slow I guess.

What is up with the different sizes? If I raise my truck it would be to tall for My fifth wheel, in which the wieght is 14500 lbs. Right now I am at the perfect hieght where the ride is level and no problems. I do not want to mess with spacers. And I want the best tires because we get tons of snow and I have quite a hill for a Driveway.

I would like to know the up's and down side with staying to the original size?

I understand a taller tire would increase the mileage but I don't like messing with the odometer. I used to be a scaufflaw driver so the boys with the funny lights on top of the cars keep a good Eye on me.

Also with the banks on there it is funny to see the expressions on peoples faces when I smoke 'em at the light. Again the funny lights on the cars! ;}And again the need for new tires! Are you starting to see the viscious circle here?

Thank You one and all: Any help for the slow one would be great!

21k and worn out.. wow. I have gotten 50k plus out of my last three dually,s... 215/85 16.. thats pulling almost 17k all summer and plowing all winter... thats with the banks to boot... If you go with the large tire you may have to get spacers for the rear so the sidewalls dont rub..

I've got almost 30,000 miles and my tires don't show any wear at all. They are the Good Year Wranglers. I've rotated them a couple of times and I'm sure that if someone measured the tread depth, there would be wear, but they are nowhere near worn out. Do you have any special reason for them to wear out so soon? Just wondering.

Yeah! He probably does not drive like there is an egg between his foot and the GO pedal!

I do not believe I drive much different than you all. I get the tires rotated with every oil change because if you get a flat they are very difficult to get off if not pulled off regularly. They are all worn evenly. I had afriend off mine (truck driver) check them and he said it is time for new tires but had no recommendation on brands. all
I need is a recommendation on brands. I will talk to my dealer about new tires but I don't know if I can trust them?

I think I will stay the same size seeing how I am not getting much feedback from changing sizes.

If you were satisfied before, might as well stick with the same stuff.
