I just purchased a torsion key/block lift and wanted to know of "TALLER" tire sizes I may be able to upgrade to now that i'll be adding a couple more inches to my truck. I have a 2004 Crew Cab Long Bed with no lift, just bigger tires than stock. When I originally purchased my BFG 285/75-16's, I adjusted my stock torsion and trimmed a few inches from the inner driver side fender. Other than that, all was fine. I don't want any wider of a tire, I like the flush look with the fenders. As for height, if I could find something to fit my stock rim, I'd love to check it out. Any help is appreciated.

I have seen trucks on this site with torsion bars cranked with 35x12.5 tires on stock rims, and also several with 295/75/16 and some with even 305/70/16 on the stock rims, or the 315's on H2 wheels. Many will tell you that the stock PYO rims are too small for any of these sizes, but there are just as many that will tell that is hog wash. I think the 295's would be a logical selection. Good luck.

295s and 305s will both fit easily with very little crank trim. On stock rims 315s will fit with a little more crank and trim. The stock rims are not to small for any of these sizes as long as you adjust your air pressure for proper wear.

You have to be carefull of stuff too big of a tire with just a "torsion bar" lift as the bump stops are still in the same location, you are just adjusting where the ride height is.
My point is that if will rub at stock ride height, you'll through that particular ride height if you hit a bump. Some guys get away with cranking the torsion bars so things clear when going slowly in a parking lot, the problem is that if you ever have the wheel cranked coming off a bank or something that will articulate the suspension it will rub....possibly bad.
