I saw this at a marine shop. Its really big. It only has screen to 100 mic's. It could fairly easyily be converted to a filter cartridge. While I was standing in the store I pulled the screens out and slid a cartridge into it. You could even make it in a 12v electric fuel pump 2 mic PRE tank filter with a little work.

The price is a joke but its a good design. I think some of the more clever people in here could make this work for us.

the only problem is flow rate.. it might work but it would take you forever to fill up your truck... i think some people have already thought of that idea and that was the story. on a side note, you'd only get 1 pass through the filter.. if its mounted in the fuel system you'll get more passes through it for a given amount of fuel due to recirculation..
