I'm going to move this over the fluids/maintanence section.

Made by Power Service (www.powerservice.com); same people that make Diesel Fuel Supplement. Good stuff. Diesel Kleen is the summer version of the Fuel Supplement, which is blended with anti-gel for winter.

Other good brands include Stanadyne and such.

I buy PS products because they are very prominent in my area at farm stores for very good prices. I'd be willing to choose other brands, but I can't beat the cost/availability of PS around here.

Power Service year around for me. Like dnewton said, it's good quality and always available.

I have been using Stanadyne with good luck. I have heard the Diesel Kleen is good though. I can actually hear a difference in my engine when I am out and run a tank without. I swear by it in the LB7!

Anything that stinks that bad has got to be good.

Just picked up a bottle of Diesel Kleen today. I'm going to give it a try.

I have been using the Power Service additive for about the last 5000 miles. I noticed a fuel milage gain of about .4 MPG when I first started using the Diesel Kleen. The Diesel Kleen has never given me a problem. I have not used the white bottle or the red bottle yet. In my area we never have a problem with fuel gelling so there is no need for anti gelling additives as long as you stay in the Puget Sound area in the winter months.

Been using PowerService Diesel Kleen additive off and on for about a year. When fuel is treated, I get average of one mpg improvement in fuel mileage. I have hand calculated it several times, so pretty confident in this observation.

When another truck owner pooh-poohed the idea of using an additive as an economy measure, I did a cost analysis. I was shocked to see that I was actually saving money per mile by using the additive! I had figured that I was spending a nominal premium for a little extra cleaning on the injectors.

Doesn't anyone read the stickies? There is a great report on additives.
