i was just lookn for the formula to go from the engine rpm, to tire speed
exapmle. rpm X gearratio X final Dive X Diff / tire size.......is this right?

You kinda have it right. The formula below gives you the road speed:
[ [Engine RPM / Transmission Gear Ratio / Rear End Ratio] x Tire Circumference] x 60 / 12 / 5280
[Engine RPM / Transmission Gear Ratio / Rear End Ratio] gives you the tire's RPM

Figures, the time I don't specify, I'm taking to a metricist... The given formula was for MPH, and called for the circumference in inches...
