Look at it this way, they likely did you a favor. They'd have probably forgot to close the valve when they were done anyway.

I wouldn't even take my POS Saturn to Walmart, let alone my truck...

You'll have better luck when the local kindergarten lets out as far as getting somebody competant to change your oil. Count your blessings and get under there yourself.

lol, i watched one of those idiots one time drain the oil, then jump up top to fill it w/o putting the plug back in. it was quite funny to see the guy check the dip stick w/ a bewildered look on his face... the boss wasn't very happy when he found out.

Yes, even if they got the old oil out successfully, I would not trust them to put all 10 quarts back in. Or to use the right oil.

Wallmart? them guys got rejected at Jiffy Lube.....

Long ago I went to jiffy lube...I never go again ever!!!!

strike 1..
I caught them trying to put the most air in my tires as the side of the tire said... 50psi in my half ton front and rear..

strike 2..
the tech went to put on 10-40 when I specifically asked for 5-30.

strike 3...
Manager told me GM was dumb to recommend 5-30 and 10-40 is better. 5-30 will leak like pig when your trunk has 50k on it.. I told him the truck has 90K and you don't have clue what your taking about..

Besides Wal Mart is bad for our country and all of our workers!!!!!!

Change your own oil. You can take the old to autozone. I know for a fact that they take it. Never trust lube joints. I used to work at a carwash that had a lube bay as well. The interview process for hiring the lube guys was showing up for the interview. And if one of them didn't show up, they picked the slowest guy out of the carwash bay to fill in......scary.

my truck is an inch short of letting me get a 5 gallon bucket underneath it. i just used a 15 quart drain pain with a pouring spout on it. then i just drain it into a 30 gallon drum reserved for special uses....

Another one snowed by wal mart!! I am a Union Carpenter here in St. Louis. I have not or will not shop at that place. If they made that much money then why wont they offer thier people health insurance???????????? Also can you tell me why they take out life insurance policies on all of the people that work there and pocket the money when they die???

Wake up and smell the coffee. Do you have any idea how Wal-mart gets their vendors to continue to drop prices? They use any practice they can, threats, intimidation, demands of products to be made overseas,China. They circumvent the free market system by making their suppliers make changes to the products because the buyer doesn't need or want that feature. Its a bunch of crap and it is not getting the billds paid in this country. You sound like one of those people who think anything big business needs to make a profit is ok and everything will be OK. Doesn't work that way dude, it takes a balance of conservative and democratic
ideals and policies to keep things balanced. Always has, always will. You go too far right the country won't be fit to live in. Why do you think labor unions got their start? Because it was necessary. People couldn't pay the bills. Too far left is no better. I have been a conservative all my life, and I beleiev in supply side economics, to a point. We need to re-learn how to take car3e of our own in this country before it is too late.

why are you going to a dealer to change your oil when you buy it yourself with a fumoto valve? its a ten minute job with that valve on there...

I had jiffy lube change my oil on one of my old trucks about 8 years ago and they didn't tighten the oil filter and driving to a job site it came off. That was the last time and first time I ever had anyone change my oil. It's so easy to do I don't understand why people don't do it them selves. my 80 year old grandfather still chages his oil.

I have complete faith in WalMart/Sam's Club's folks to not use the right oil. After all, that 10,000 gallon 10W/30 SE rated oil tank is good for all cars. Who cares what the manual says...

Let's put a reality check on this one. Lowest price, high volume - yeah, they'll pay well to attract the best. They probably negotiate DOWN their pay every year/month.
