He guys, here's an odd one, and maybe it's all in my head...:rolleyes:

Since I installed the predator 40hp tune, the CD player seems to take FOREVER to load, or sometimes won't even do it. I've tried different CD's and everything, and I swear it didn't have this problem before i loaded the tune. Am I crazy, or is anybody else having this happen?:confused:

Mine works fine, but I'm at the 65hp tune, and have never done the 40. I'm guessing the answer is you're :Pshyco:, but remember, you said it first!

To the extent it is loading slow or not loading, I doubt it's the Predator, but probably has more to do with the CD player itself.

I think your CD player is trying to tell you to GO BIG OR GO HOME!):h Try installing a bigger tune and see if that helps.:ro)

Seriously though, havent heard of that problem before. Try uninstalling it to see if it still does it stock.

It can't be the fault of the predator, but if you want to test it just un-install the predator and try it out.

If you install the 100HP tune you won't need your CD player! :eyecrazy:

:idea: Yes it is commonly known as CD-Lag, You may need some faster fuses ... or install ball bearings to get the cd-player to spool faster to compensate for the increased horsepower.. :lying:

I'm thinking 65hp tune this week. Still waiting for the tranny to return completely to normal before screwing it up again.

The wife did make me laugh the other day. She took it to work and when she came home, she said ' boy that thing is faster than I remember '. I said ' it's just finally getting broken in '):h ...

Now send her to work with the 100hp tune, and tell her it's almost fully broken in now...:ro)

Then when she limps it she will be more inclined to upgrade the tranny.:exactly:
