I put the tailgate lamp from the 3500 on my 2500. Anyone ever put the rear side marker lamps from a 3500 or 4WS on their 2500 HD...or would that be gay???...don't know!!??

Do you mean the amber and yellow lights near the bubble fenders on the beds of the 3500? If so i was thinking the same thing. That would be cool looking. Anybody done that yet? I'm sure somebody has.

What about find a (front end) wrecked C3 with rear wheel steering and get the slight buldge with the fender lights. That would look cool with a bit wider tires.

through the tag lights...you can get the wiring harness along with the light assy for a nice clean job. Just make sure you have anough clearance for the tailgate in the open position. Fairly easy job. Sealed up the three holes I drilled with some clear scilicone.

Chrisms31,
Yeah...I was sure someone had tried it. Good idea Max Power. Was kinda hoping someone had tried something to the effect...and had some pics...before I be the guinea pig!!!!

On certain Suburban models I have seen fender flares with red and amber in them like a dually wheel well? The look like a factory deal on the Subs...I have seen them on 4 different subs in 2 states in the country and downtown Seattle.
I think they are on 1 ton suburbans...each one has factory cab markers lights on the roof and triple light above the license plates.
I think it looks pretty cool.......my .02
I want a set of those flares....but my wife laughs she thinks they look stupid?
Even better I think would be too put a Quadsteer bed on it.......???

If you install the side clearance lights, consider connecting them to the front side markers. They will illuminate with the park/headlights and flash with the turn signals. They actually alternate on and off with the turn signals when the running lights are on. Pretty eye catching, IMHO.

I wonder if you could just order those flairs from Gm and have them painted. The sub flares will stick out a bit more though.

I have been thinking about adding the Quadra steer fender flares off a Suburban/Yukon XL for a while now. I took some measurements and it appears they will fit without any problems. You could purchase the light harness from a dooley if you want everything to look factory. The only thing that kept me from doing it is the rear wheelbase is already skinnier than the front, then you'd have these fender flares which stick out approx 1" more than the regular fenders...it would look a little goofy unless you ran a wheel spacer and I have no intentions of doing so.

The flare kits for the quad steer subs comes with the harness and lights. Just need paint and some wiring to hook up. I have kicked it around, priced them even ( dont remember what it was now) but never did it... Might have too....

My biggest concern was if it would fit the wheel opeing/box curve... guess I'll order a set and see!

Correctrack Spacers (http://www.mrtruck.net/spacer.htm)

Obviously not everyone's thing, but if you want those Q-Steer fenders to look decent...
