I would like to know who the brilliant idiot is that decide that routing the serpentine belt around the upper radiator hose was a good idea on the new Super Duties. I there a after market hose that I can buy to route around the serpentine belt so if I have to make a quick change somewhere I do not have to pull off the upper hose. It looks like there is a place to route a different hose.

Don't you have to cut the fan shroud too?
Try www.1stFordParts.com (http://www.1stFordParts.com)
No, you don't have to cut the shroud. There is also a site called dieselmann.
Just google that name and I'm pretty sure he has them. I put one on mine and it goes around and behind the belt.
Hope this helps.

Just go to any good parts store and get the hose for a dual alternator setup it routes around the belt. One drawback to this hose is that if the belt breaks it will generally take the hose out with it, so it kind of defeats the whole purpose (but I have one on my truck).;)
