fixin to finish up my lift on my '06 Crew cab short bed HD and my current exhaust(4'' aluminized hack job with cat delete and muffler delete with stock front pipe) is gonna look like crap hangin under there since my truck is so high. so i was lookin for company that made a full kit(front pipe back) that had a cat and muffler delete...i was lookin into a dual kit if i could find one but its not a must have. i was wantin a 4'' dual kit or a single 5'' kit preferrably...and i want a good quality fit and finish.
any ideas, opinions, or picture would be greatly apreciated. thanks

BAMA HD,
You have a few different choices for sure.....4" single, 4" "Cool Duals" and also a single 5". Depending on where you live and what you use your truck for, we have the 4" & 5" systems available in aluminzed, and the 4" systems in 409 and T304 stainless also.
You are able to go front pipe back with our high flow muffler, or you can also order the muffler delete if you want it really aggressive. These are full bolt on kits and I'm postive that any one of the supporting vendors on this site that carry our systems will help you out with prices.
Any questions on part numbers, options, etc, feel free to ask or pm me.

Sounds like you need a T304 stainless kit. T409 will look good initially, but in time will develop some surface rust. Check the MBRP systems and prices on our site. Let me know if you have any questions.

been a while since i posted this thread but im ready for some new exhaust...the single 4 inch pipe looks kinda small on the truck since its about 10 inches higher now...
i want to do a complete system from front to back but i want an agressive sound. rite now it is 4 inch with no cat, no muffler. and its stil quiet till you stomp it. but it doesnt have that "big truck" sound. sounds like a bunch of air. no tone at all. i know the duramax is gonna sound different than the cummins and powerstroke but im sure there is someway to get some noise out of it....and not make it sound trashy....any help????

Well, you could go with a 5" setup sans muffler and cat. Thats going to be your loudest option.

5'' without the muffler and cat??? im confused on what your sayin...
wouldnt 5inch on a stock turbo with jus an intake and programmer be too much??? seems like my low end would really suffer...

I think what he's saying is no muffler or cat is going to be the loudest option.
