I saw these in a catalog. They looked good on most of the trucks but they didn't have a picture of one on an HD?

I like the fact that they are close to the truck. I usually take the step boards off my trucks because I am 6'5" and really don't need them. I always just step over them. Now that I have the 1500 HD It looks like it needs something there. I thought these would be out of the way and still hide some of the frame rail that is visable.

I also have them & they are a little close to the truck but I like the look. Iv'e gotten used to turning my foot a little to the side when getting in / out.
I also like the way they mount, the brackets are kinda concealed & not hanging way down like some I see.
Over all im happy with them :)

Yea me too, & it hides some of the frame :rolleyes:

Big country makes stainless that look identical to Westin but are cheaper with a lifetime warranty. I have them on my 06 GMC Crew Cab and I like them.

I have them ... since I'm running 295's it makes the extra hop for the missus easier. I also like the look close to the body.
