Just got on this site, and just bought my first diesel! I doubt I will ever go back to a gas truck. I have alot of plans for my truck and I use this site to determine which parts work and don't. My name is Jared, I work in the Oil Field for Scientific Drilling. I should start the build up soon. Any questions or advice are welcome.

Welcome to the site. Big list of mods you want there. Looking at other post you have you have been doing some reading and searching. Good on that. Just remember to read till you can't stand it anymore then read some more. Like your asking about programmers then you should know built transmission for the version of programmer would be best if you go to the max with it. Then turbo back exhaust, second cp3 pump, bigger intercooler and piping, then you can think about a cold air intake. Not need to mild tunes since pretty much free flowing but if you max it out then go bigger and make sure it is not an oiled filter. Raises havoc on the MAF. Going with a lift then look in to change differential(s) gears and maybe a solid front axle instead of stock IFS.

Again have fun. Keep us all informed on what works and doesn't in you mods.

Spend that hard earned oil field money, we all do. Have fun with the truck. Don't forget to smoke on all those other trucks at the rig.

I talked to my dad, he is a MWD for SDI... The only guy we know by the that name was a MWD but he is prolly only 30 years old, drives a white dodge diesel, and is working in OK on Cactus rig 133... Maybe the guy we know is his son. Ill see what I can find out
