he got her running but after driving for a bit she was still giving him trouble and running rough. the $20 fuel pump was the problem. so i ordered one from GM. hopefully the factory one will last longer than 4 months... also the fuel system was losing its prime because i didn't have a vented fuel cap so the vacuum was sucking the fuel back to the tank. picked up a vented cap at auto zone instead of the factory GM one (no way am i spending $43 and waiting a week on a fuel cap!). also i need to figure out where to get a bracket for my starter. the guy from the dealership says he can't order one for a gear reduced? doesn't make sense to me especially since i read on someone's post that they got their bracket from GM. also auto zone doesn't carry them which confuses me more cuz thats where i got the friggin starter! how can hey sell the starter but not carry the special bracket you need for it!? well long story short the pump will be here tuesday and i should have my truck back later that night. which is excellent because i'm getting surprisingly sick of driving the 68 nova II. i mean its got a 350 marine block and is wicked fast, but manual drum brakes all around and speed don't mix too well haha.
