: Straight Piped 05...Starnge exhaust not change at idle jeff1216 02-12-2005, 03:39 PM I installed the LB7 down pipe.....muffler elimanation pipe....finger stick....egr block off plate.....No codes and she runs great. At idle the exhaust note will suddenly change from a high pitched jet sound to a low grumble for a few secs....then back to the jet. My wife was afraid something was wrong, as she is the main driver of our new truck (05 GMC Crew/dually) and she was used to the sound of our 03 LB7 with a Banks exhaust (more bark and rumble) I acutally like the sound, especially on an aggressive take off.
