Wow. Just called around to several places in town, and nearly everyone has our plain ole ACDelco/Stanadyne Fuel Filter (AC Delco #TP1256, GM #10154635) for Over 30 bucks! Wow. I stocked up a couple of years ago - I remember them being like 15 or 18 dollars. Hoo. Wasn't expecting a 2x price increase!

I just bought a new fuel filter yesterday and paid $14.
Old one was pretty bad.... lol... So bad that i was having hesitation under hard acceleration :o:

Advanced Auto carries the cheaper price locally. If you want another internet source, PM me.

There is also fleetfilter.com who is a vendor for the site.

Do you have an autozone near you? if so, just stop and get a luber-finer brand, part number FF749, when you take it out of box and look at it, it says stanadyne on it just like the ac delco ones......
I got one last week for $14.08...

Makes you think, doesn't it? If Stanadyne, Luber-finer and Autozone can all three make a profit on a $14 re-boxed filter, Delco must be laughing all the way to the bank at $34 each.
