Opinions will be mixed, but I say stay with the LB7. Easier on fuel, more power mods, and less emissions bull sh*t!

Man if it isnt broken dont trade. I have not had both trucks but I have had three bad trucks in a row from other companies. If I can get one that they can fix or has no problems at all I am going to drive it till it blows up. Hope this GMC is it.

I would say to stay with your lb7 if you are happy with it. You really don't have too many miles on it.
If it is for the accessories, ie. fully loaded, as compared to what you have, then your decision lies in what you'll be happiest with. The 03 is a good year. They seemed to ave ironed out many issues with it. The 05 lly is similar to the 02. There will be some issues as they are ironing thiings out. But overall, it is a solid truck.
My vote is to keep payments low, if any.

I have had both. I wish I would have kept my LB7. MILEAGE SUCKS ON THE LLY!

If you can swing the payment then do it. Base truck to SLT is a nice change. I have an LS Silverado and I love how comfortable the truck is.. Bucket seats, steering wheel radio / DIC controls, CD player.. Hell, my GF even likes being in it..

Can't speak to the 03 to 05 question, but my DW loves our truck the heated seat in the cold, XM radio comfortable seats. She even said the other day that if we wern't taking the truck she'd rather stay home! She love's this truck. And you know the rule, "Momma ain't happy, nobody's happy!":o:

Well don't look like it's happening.......they tried a fast one with the price, still like my 03 guess; it's time for that 4" exaust:ro)
