Just a heads up to anyone that has replaced their steering stablizer with a rancho unit- they break!! Mine has pulled out from the end and may have messed up a trans line- still taking it apart. Called the parts house that I got it from- this is the second one they have had, the other guys broke and he hit a car:eek: , no one hurt thankfully. I will call Rancho Monday and aks WTF.

hmmm ? how did it break ?? i didnt think those broke too easy unless heavy off roading or an accident... i run the fabtech stabilizer and it works great, but im interested to find out why yours went belly up. good luck in getting er fixed, that sucks and im sure rancho will make it better for you, or atleast they better

The truck see's very little off road, I installed the last summer around 49k, the truck now has 56k. This happend when I was plowing snow, I thought it was a Ice buildup, guess I was wrong. Here are some Photoshttp://www.msnusers.com/hs1f5ml9a4qaejik3b8g6orpt0/Documents/Pictures/rancho.jpge

Mine did the same. Shaft came right out of the body and got turned around some how and slightly bent a transmission line. I don't do any off roading. Strictly highway for me. don't know what happened!

Blizzard Boy,
Didn't Tim tell you I did that 7 mo ago. Bad parts friend.
I got lucky when it pulled apart, 3 mph and in the boat dealer lot.
We must ban the rancho steering stabilizers. some one will get killed or kill some one else.
What will fit on a stock 02 ?

Jim do you still have your broken one? I talked to Rancho today and they said # 5407 requires a bracket kit or to use the stock location you need part # rs5411. So if you have one installed in the stock location, CHECK part # or make sure you have the bracket also.
