Very cool! I think it's a much better idea than a belt drive for the second CP3, but how much additional load is it going to put on the cam gear/cam pin and the end bearing? Hope it works out.

The plate on the front of the engine can be customized to fit any drag chassis or pull truck. This one is going on the Goodfellow Streamliner. The pumps are driven off the cam so they end up running at 3700rpm when the crank is at 5000rpm, that way the pumps aren't overspeeding and are still in their peak efficeny range.

No 2 CP3's should support 1300+ RWHP. This will also clear the valley. The idea works in conjunction with the new air to water intake manifold which will also be available here VERY soon! ;)

Just another thought,

I saw Mr. Vorhees truck in DieselPower, how do they crank 1800+ H.P. out of that.

Are you going to be in that category?

Awesome!!!

With the new air to water intake/cooler, will the second stage compressor get booted to the fender area?

I would like to be but Nasty has always been a daily driver and I would never change that. This is a competion style setup only. However we have made some MAJOR improvements on my new build. :D

Yes it is. ;)

There are a couple options there. :)

Good to hear that you have been busy during the winter, look forward to the next update. Just curious is the new motor going to be stock displacement or a stroker D-MAX?

No stroker for me this time around I will let someone else try that one out first. ;)

There is 2 kits now available a 7.1 from Guy Tripp SoCal Diesel and a 7.3 from another vendor.
