Hey fella's it's getting closer to that time, and yes we all get it. Time to wash and wax the Bear or Topkick. Just got through reading posts on this and thought I share a time saving tip. It's a big job to w & w our rigs and they look good after it's all done. You have to admit we get alot of looks while cruising around town or going down the hwy. To cut time I found a wax that will save alot of down time and frequent washings. I get asked how many times I washed my truck because it stays clean all the time. It got washed three times last year. Ok, two times for real, wife ran me out of the house the third. I know everybody has their choice wax but the C4500 is alot of truck! I got some Collinite 476s which claimed to be detergent proof. I called the manf. and they said mud won't even stick to it. "Ya right!" They were right. It's pricey, but it's worth the cost. I came back from New Orleans, rained all the way, and put the hose on the truck. I couldn't believe it. My wife even thought I had washed the truck. I have the web site if you're interested. Cold and Mud, Cold and Mud :blahblah:

Coast, the fella on the phone was real helpful. I told him about the hard water down here and water spots. He promised that there wouldn't be any. True to his word. I'm sold on the stuff. I really how it makes the paint, even white, look real deep. I got all the guys here to order it. Most of them have Harley's and put it on there bikes. They bring it up every time I see them.
Mylash, You have to give'm a call or look on their site.

I think it was $15 a can. Not sure. It was a year ago when I got it. I growled about the price some but after I used it and got the results, I was happy. I had a whole shelf of different waxes and threw them away. I did the wife's truck back in the fall. After the snow and muck, it all washed off. If it wasn't going to freeze for a couple of nights I would have used the pressure washer only.
