I think i have seen a post on a larger aftermarkt fuel tank. can anyone help me out on where to go and how it fits. thanks

I cant' wait to tow the trailer with it. I was so tired of looking for easily accessible gas stations with the trailer on. Now I should be able to make the majority of our camping trips without having to stop for gas. How does your gauge react with the new tank kbk 02-13-2005, 05:59 PM It does hang down about 2" below the frame. With my nerf bars it is not visible from the side. I don't do any serious off-roading. Mostly dirt/gravel roads to get to camp spots so I wasn't too worried about it hanging down. I asked my stealership and they said, " Oh, you have an aftermarket tank HUH, well I'm not sure but I think that voids your warrentee on your fuel tank.:blahblah: " I said, "who cares" and left it at that. Basically said that they couldn't re-cal it. What got me thinking is the long bed has a bigger tank than the short bed so why can't we recaliberate them. does that make sence? I'll stay posted to see what you come up with. | ||
