GM is going to start using a new rating of transmission fuid (Dexron VI). Anyone know anything about this fluid?

Dexron VI offers the longer-life characteristics in the table.

TIP: Dexron III and Dexron VI can be mixed with no problem.

Hmmm, I was concidering changing to Transynd. I wonder what the differences are between the two fluids ? Should I hold off and wait on changing over to Transynd ?

Thanks

JonnyO, where did you hear about this stuff? Looks promising. I, too was going to go synthetic at about 5k miles, but may change to this when it becomes available.
