Just picked up a new CB. It is a Galaxy DX959. I went ahead and got a new astatic noise canceling mic. She swings 30 watts and is reall clear and loud. I am happy with it so far. I traded my Superstar 121 and $50 for it:D. The guy gave me more for my radio than I bought it for 1 1 1/2 years ago:eek:. Made me happy. I liked my old radio but this one is soooo much nicer.

Thanks for the comment. I havn't got a change to test it out but so far I really like it. I ran it with the Linear and she really talks. Just havn't tried it barefoot yet. Need to check SWR's. I am really loving all the features:D.

Be sure to mount it very tight.Galaxy's are noted for cracked p/c boards.I've had 4 99's in the past an everyone of them have had this problem.I now run ONLY Rangers.Local CB shop is waiting for my 400 watt to come in as we speak.That will make 5 of them with the oldest being 7 yrs old.We use them in all our trucks and 2 of our tractors.
