Does or can an LLY smoke as much as an LB7? I know that's not what I should be looking for but I want to flood an intersection out when I get the truck.

In order to "flood the intersection" you will have to do some major upgrading, whether it is an LLY or LB7... Even with my edge on 5/5, I really had to floor it to get it to smoke extensively. Injectors, programmer, exhaust and so on would be needed to get it to smoke as much as the old diesel used to... most likely you won't be able to add some of these things (ie. injectors) since they run over $1000 after buying the truck. If you want a truck that smokes like crazy, but an old dodge cummins and mod it.

Stack something. You'll get all the smoke you need.

The Predator on 100 is leaves more smoke at a stoplight than the Edge IMO. Stack them, and you are sure to get what you are looking for.

Personally, I'm running the TTS tune to avoid accidently smoking out an intersection. It will smoke some, but not at moderate pedal pressure.

is it me or do stock lly smoke more than a stock lb7? i have seen a few on the freeway and they seem to put out little puffs of smoke at moderate speeds. my lb7 doesnt do that unless i stand on it from a stop.

mine only does it when I stand on it and shifting while I have it floored.

My buddy has an lb7 w/ juice and duramaximizer, I've never seen his roll out smoke unless he's hooked to sled and even then it's not very much (unless he has a dirty fuel filter.) My lly w/ predator on any level smokes. On 100 it'll fill an intersection pretty good. Too bad there wasn't a switch to turn off/on the smoke yet leave the power alone.

The next level TTS tune ("Race") puts out just over the power that the Predator 100 puts out, but is not near as bad on the smoke.

Hey, on a side note.... the predator is supposed to be 40, 65, 85, 100 right? Does anyone else's say (when done programming) "the 120 hp has been installed successfully?" I assume that's a typo from Predator.

I've noticed that too. (boost) I was flipping through the live data came across that.... 0.00.... wtf, stood on the go peddle.... turbo whistled.... still 0.00. Are they going to fix it?
