Sounds really good. I'm putting the same exhaust on tomorrow, so I'm glad you posted. I hope mine smokes a little like yours, with the PPE. Do you notice a hiss coming from the turbo, that I've heard a few people talk about?

yeah in person it actually sounds like a really loud hissing sound/blowing sound when its idling and when you punch it and let off the turbo is really loud. While driving you can hear the constant hiss. For some reason you couldnt hear it in this video, i think it was because it was with my camera and it doesnt have the greatest video. Ill make another tomorrow with my actual video camera so you can hear the hiss

you will get used to it. It actually sounds wicked. People turn and stare when you go by in a parking lot and when your sitting at a stop light they roll the window down to listen, which sets them up for a case of the black lung lol

seeing that video makes me want to hurry up and order mine. i know i'm wanting the quad 2 just trying to decide on what exhaust.. but i like what i'm hearing.. you are running "NO muffler" correct? just straight pipe all the way?

the hiss, it grows on ya in about a second. That sounds just like mine too, and i have the muff in, it is when you get on it on the road that it roars, but that video is sick!

i had an lly sraight piped an loved it. Iam going to be going the same to the new toy lmm. I heard my buddie LBZrcks today and it sounded sick.

Are you guys with the LMMs and the 4" MBRP turbo back exhaust getting the hissing noise with stock intakes?

I don't have the MBRP, I've got Magnaflow, nothing changed in the intake, hisses alot. I like!! Chris

Should be any truck with a VVT (variable vane turbo). The hissing sound is the vanes being closed and when they open up you actually hear the truck.

the system is sitting on the shop floor. :D i have to take the truck in to the dealer for " THE LEAK" on tuesday. loosing the DPF after she comes home.

honestly it took me about 1 1/2 to remove the exhaust and install the new, and the tuner

i have been DPF-less for a almost two months now. love it. was running the 70 tune, no on the 90. going back down to 70. i think the milage is a little lower on the 90 than the 70. again the HISS is great. no issues so far.......:D

Hey I notice your in CA, whats the deal with smog? I just got an 08 2500 diesel, and plan on running the quadzilla 2 with a mbrp turbo back. Is it smog every 5 years? Thanks

Ive got a 4" MBRP filter back, can u just buy a down pipe and muffler deleteand still be able to use what ive got?

just run the muffler on the freeflow side and it will sound the same as the straight piped one have had quad and mbrp exhaust on for a year now 90hp tune love it :D

I just installed the quad on the 90hp tune and did an "in shop" straight pipe turbo back and left the stock exhaust where it goes over the axle to the tip. So it looks stock but is pretty damn loud and that hissing sounds like a jet when idling!! I LOVE IT!!
