Just got home with my new truck:
Chevy
2008 2500 HD crew cab standard bed
4x4
6.6 duramax
Black
Basic options.....It's going to be my work truck too for when I head out on the job sites, plus I've got a pair of labs that ride in the cab so no carpet and cloth seats.....
Will be adding a stereo to my liking, 4" lift & 35's on black wheels later.....Also going 5% tint all around....Going to completely black it out....
Definately some power adders down the road but in the immediate future the exhaust will be getting changed.....I hate the stock exhaust pipe....On a otherwise great looking truck it's just so ugly.....
Definately eager to get into the whole thing and see what I can learn / contribute to the forum.....
I'll snap some pics later......
Dealer had it all washed and waxed up for delivery and of course it rained on the way home......
I am suprised though just how smooth it was on the interstate at 80.....My previous diesels (first diesel I've owned since 1998) and our F-250 diesels we've got in the fleet (7.3 motors) are so much choppier on the road...
