Finally got to pick up my Boat from the other side of the Island, about 35 miles. The Boat weighs in at about 7000 lbs, I figure. I first towed the Boat over there with my 6.5 Chevy, & it was heating up as I had expected, but not too bad. This time it was the trip home with the LLY with 8100 miles. I pulled it on Banks set at 3 in Drive with tow mode. The water temp did not budge at 205, the trans started off at 150, & never got above 180. After driving that 6.5 for a few years & watching the tempuratures rise as I towed the Bobcat & the Boat, not at the same time ;) , I was overjoyed at the capacity of the new LLY, I was even feeling a little rambunctious & was going to pass a few tourists, but kept my cool! I do love this truck!!
