I went ahead and cut the front "triangle" piece out of my airbox yesterday. I was just wondering if it is really necessary to cut off the grooves/ribs and drill the holes as it says to do on Kennedy's web-site. I just figured opening up the front would help enough. If anybody has any detailed pics of the cutting of the ribs and the 3/16" holes I would appreciate it.

well i took my truck to the track for the first time sat and ran 2 passes both with the headlight in and it averaged a 15.20 then i pulled the light out to give it more airflow to my hole in my air box and it went a 14.97. i would say cut it all

The floor mods are just a way to keep the box from retaining water and junk.
