Is there a schematic diagram on this little device available anywhere?
Shop manual maybe?? I've scoured the internet, but haven't found it yet. Hopefully I've just overlooked it so far, :( but I usually find what I'm looking for (well, eventually anyhow) and am getting no where with this.

I'd really like to figure out what's going on with this controller!
If you have a dead one please don't throw it away - I'll do it for you :D. I'd like to try to take a few apart and see if something better and hopefully cheaper can be devised.

Do a search, some have tried to open them up with the same intension. Never heard any results, think they gave up on it. Leo

Well hooray for competition and the American way!

Stanadyne thought that they have a monopoly on the PMD and try to milk everything out of it. Until somebody else comes up with it and actually cheaper and better. Stanadyne was still trying to discredit the improvements.
