I have been looking into different turbo upgrades for a while and want to go with MPI Twins.

I have read nothing but good things about Nathan and his craftsmanship, but I still have a couple of questions for you guys actually running this setup.

I hear they are quick to spool with very nice street manors, but can anyone give me actual times to certain PSI levels?

What max boost levels are you running and with how aggressive of a tune?

Has anyone run over 1400* EGTs? Just about every post I have read comments on the great EGT management this setup has.

It seems pretty reasonably to expect about 550rwhp keeping the stock VVT with a conservative tune. Has anyone seen anything different.

Is there anything you would suggest doing with this set up to increase engine longevity? I am not worried about the tranny, I know it will need to be built to support the power, but what about the engine (Cam, Pistons, Head Studs, Injectors, etc.)?

I think these twins would be great with the Cheetah as the stock charger :D

Here is a bit of my experiences.

Very clean kit

Very nice manors, very similar to stock VVT turbo truck. Hard to give an answer to the PSI vs times. The boost comes on evenly and steady.

Race tuning (600+HP) I'm running 50 pounds, everyday tune hits 42

On race tuning I can hit 1450-1500 on a 12.0 second pass. On the street, very hard to get it to 1250 pulling a load uphill

My everyday tow tune dynos low 500HP and tunes can go to 650HP with stock engine.

My past two trucks running MPI twin have been stock without problems.

Thanks IdahoRob,

That was exactly what I was looking for. I will be in touch with Nathan shortly.

I am moving to WA next month, but as soon as I can find a good Tranny and Diesel shop in the area this set up going on.
