Today i plugged my standard programmer in for the first time since 4 months ago and i got no signal, no power. any info??? i believe that there might be a dead battery in the tuner(if there is one...) or even a loose circuit in the odp port perhaps, im not sure but once tomorrow comes i may check the odp port at the dealer(even canadian tire here in canada) to see if THEY are getting any signals... any ideas would be greatly obliged. thanx

did you turn on the ignition? mine will have no signal after a minute if ignition is not turned on. there is no battery in the tuner, it runs off the power from the OBDII port. i agree on checking the obd2 wires just dont tell the techs what you are planning on doing with the obd

yah, when i plugged in the tuner the keys were at the on position and also while the truck was running too. like i said though tomorrow we'll know for sure(usb/odp port responding signals) or untill there are some real incidents of this occuring... right now im wondering if there might be some loose wires that are exposed or maybe a specific fuse in the fuse box relating to it.
