Hey was just wandering if anyone knows or has done a swap from the old 90's 2500 stock wheels 16x6.5 i think to the newer 2000
+ 2500 wheels? do they fit? and i just bought some new tires not long ago so i was wondering if the old tires would fit the new wheels?

Do you mean from the steel rally wheels to the polished aluminum wheels? If so, I did it and they fit fine.

No, It is very complicated and you might as well not do it, and just send the wheels to me to make them fit. :D

J/K It is only as hard as changing a flat. If you can handle that, your good to go :D

hey, that's my exact suburban color! I thought the dealer was responsible for putting that champaign color over an otherwise good blue suburban. I like the looks of the D-max wheels. I've got some knock off chrome ones, but the chrome is starting to peel off. Have you got a photo of the whole suburban with the d-max wheels?

They fit just fine. I put them on my SUB and shortly there after the other 2 diesel SUBS around here had them as well. Really makes them look better.

Will the tires from the stock wheels fit on the newer 2000-2007 wheels? is there any backspacing problems?

Yes they will. A 16" tire will fit a 16" Rim. the only issue you would ever have fitting tires on rims is when you go to say a 285 or wider tire. Look at the sizes of tires the DMAXs are using, and you will have your answer;)
