Doing a conversion to the '95 chevy in my sig and kind of ran into a snag. While taking measurements under the truck for new crossmembers, trans mounts etc... I noticed that where my transfer case will need to be that the front driveshaft will have to go straight through the crossmember that holds the torsion bars. Can I cut the cross member where I need to and brace it back to the top of the frame or what exactly would I be getting myself into with doing some mods to this piece? Thanks in advance.

You may have to cut the bar and brace back up, also look into getting an indexing ring for the transfer case. That will rotate the yoke down more so it can have a little more room.
