Here lately have been noticing that when I have my six gun on SL and under WOT the transmission seems to stay in one gear and take awhile to shift to the next gear. Wondering if this means damage has already been done, or if a trans jr. kit will cure this or at least buy me some time. I am thinking about going with a trans jr., switching to transyn, and getting the deep pan kit in about another 5k. Is there anything else that should be done while I have her open? Thanks alot guys.

I usually change it every 10k. It was done about 7k ago so it is getting close to being due. Plus the truck hasnt been used as much as it used to, I only use it on the weekends. Not sure if that effects the fuel any. You think I may not have enough fuel on the higher setting?

Im thinking its a fuel filter. If it was the trans I would think that the shifts would be really long, not holding a gear. Im not a trans guy tho. On my 04 it would stay in fourth for a couple of seconds, when I changed the filter it went away

You have the 5 or 6 speed tranny. trans jr wont work on 5 speed; you will have to go with the full transgo and pull the tranny.
