I was talking to a fella that works at edlebrock, he says that I should be careful if I remove my cat converter because it may interfear with o2 sensor feedback and could cause engine damage. I do not see any o2 sensor down stream from the cat? Whats the best way to get rid of my cat converter. Who makes the best cat removal down pipe.

The LB7 non-california version pipe is a bolt in swap. I have had my 2 trucks "kitty-less" for a combined mileage of about 50,000 miles and no problems and no codes.

I have the LB7 non-california version also and was wondering where you got the pipe section to replace the cat? And how much it costs?

There is a classified ad posted today with a stock exhaust. Check the ad for info. I got mine at the local exhaust shop. They had installed a complete 4" system on a guys 01 and he did not want the old stuff.

The Edelbrock guy obviously needs to stick to gas motors. There is no O2 sensor before or after the cat on the diesels.
